Damn, brotha. $99 for an iPhone? I. WANT. ONE.

Anyway, I've been bugging my dad to give me his E71 and he just wont budge! I think he fell in love with it. But I can't blame him. Its really nice and sleek. I just dont get why he needs two smart phones (a blackberry and an E71). I mean, TWO SMARTPHONES? Damnnn. So I texted him (and twittered him) about the recent price cut of Apple and he texted back "Whats the catch?" He couldnt believe iphones would cost $99! I told him, theres no catch. Its just that Apple released a newer model of iPhone. The iPhone 3GS. And he texted me back "Pinabili ko na. Di ko alam kelan dadarating."

YAY!! I really thought he was gonna give me the iPhone. I was wrong. He was SELLING it to me. DAMN. XD But, yeah, I told him Ill buy it. I cant believe my dads selling me a phone. Hahaha, oh well!

OMG. The Philippines is fucked up.

Like SRSLY. The other day I saw a video of our senators wearing garlic necklaces. What the frack was that?! CON-ASSwang daw. Goddd, they're acting like drunktards and stoners! Then there's congressman who made a speech about the con-ass. He was part of the minority and he was against CON-ASS. He said (not exact words, but yeahh):

"Diba sa rape nga sabi, wag po. wag po. Madam President, wag po. Wag nyo naman gahasain ang bayan natin. Wag po."

What the hell?! Then Korina Sanchez commented on a radio show "Ewan ko ba sa bansa natin, goodluck na lang." 


HAHAHAHAHA. WE'RE ALL DOOMED. Goodbye, Philippines!! Hahaha!

Blame it on the flu, got ya feelin blue. Blame it on the swine, got ya feelin blind. Blame it on the e-e-e-exchange student. Dayum.

No, but seriously. Fuckin a. I know its not the exchange student's fault, but I cant help but be pissed. (Im sorryyy! But I wish YOU well! Seriously. Get well soon.) Pissed at the fact that classes are suspended. Pissed at the fact that we WILL have friday classes. And I NEED those fridays off for relaxation. Lol, but seriously, I need those extra time to do homework, reports, and other papers! Oh noes.

But more than that, Im pissed at the fact that theres a frickin swine flu virus at De La Salle University. SERIOUSLY. Its freaking me out. Around 4:30pm yesterday, we were having our INTSOCI (Introduction to Sociology) class at Miguel and we were all waiting for the announcement of the suspension of classes because of the typhoon cause we got several SMS from our parents that classes, all over Metro Manila are indeed cancelled. Oh btw, DLSU is known for "NAGSUSPEND PA KAYO." Hahahaa, they announce the suspension of the classes late. Oh welzz. Anyway, so our block decided to send a representative to the vice dean to inquire about the cancellation of classes. While our block president was gone, the texts from the SC (Student Council) started flooding in. The SMS said that classes are suspended till the 14th because of a confirmed case of a(h1n1) virus in the university. We all thought it was a big joke! So we continued with our lesson. Then our block president came back and said that classes indeed are suspended FOR THE DAY. So yeaaah, we celebrated and headed home. On our way to central plaza, there was this SC member who asked us "Do you know whats happening in the university?" and we were like, "yeahhh, classes are suspended cause of the rain!" then he gave us a letter. THEN BOOM. We realized, it wasnt a joke. There was a frackin female exchange student who contracted the influenza a(h1n1) virus from some asshole. Fuck. We decided to photocopy the letter and give em out to the whole block so that they will be aware of the announcement.

I started to freak out when I saw people wearing face masks. Fuck them. They made me paranoid. :-S But Im seriously not liking the idea that I may have come in contact with that exchange student. La Salle has a small campus. It IS inevitable. FUCK MY LIFE.

But, I am praying (...using the 6 decade rosary, lol) that no one will be infected with the virus pa. SHIT!!! God, save our school.

St. John the Baptist de La Salle, pray for us. Live Jesus in our hearts, FOREVER.

PS: Lol, I dont really hate the exchange student. I hope she gets well soon. :(

About a year ago, I was standing in the middle of my cross road. Perplexed and confounded. I didn’t know where to go, what to do, what to think. I was completely at a loss. I was sure I’d get into law. But I didn’t know how. To make it more complicated, I couldn’t get any help from anyone. ‘Cause they, too, were as dumbfounded as I was. It was funny, I guess. The image of incoming seniors all exhausted from studying, knowing they need to get into a school, but neither knowing which school nor what course to take. 

Crossroads -- An imminent phase in our lives that can never ever be avoided, even with all those detours.

The only thing you get from taking all those detours is extra time. Extra time to wander and take things slow. Extra time to settle amongst yourselves what you really want. Sorry to break it to you, honey, life is not designed to be slow paced. You need to wear that seatbelt on, take a deep breath, and get a grip. Take a damn good grip ‘cause life won’t treat you any nicer.

But that is the truth. You can’t tell the god of time to stop all its activities ‘cause you’re not ready. Or you need to take a break. Wake up, hun. You’re not the only person in the world! You might be feeling exhausted from all the work you need to do, but the rest of the world couldn’t care less. The world will not slow down for you. You just have to keep up.

And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

In about 3526 minutes, I’ll be off to college. A place full of God-knows-what and God-knows-who. But despite the alien territory and the lurking extra terrestrial beings, I am unfazed. I’ve come this far and God knows I won’t be succumbing to the pressures of the galactic world.

Oh, hell no.

 

...besides I already paid 60,000 bucks. I NEED to make the most out of it. Ive got no choice. LEARN or BURN.
